My name is Christiana Budu, and I am a Nurse Practitioner. I was born in Nigeria, grew up in Georgia, and moved to Northern Virginia in 2004. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing in 2008.
Since I was an adolescent, I knew that my career path would involve working with children. Thus, I was excited to start my nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at INOVA Children’s Hospital. Although I found my job in the ICU very rewarding, I had a strong desire to work in preventative medicine. I returned to George Mason and completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2015. I have been working in pediatric primary care for the past eight years.
I joined Bristow Pediatrics in January of 2023. In addition to preventive care and health maintenance, I have a strong interest in asthma management. My hobbies include reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and attending my son’s sporting events.
